It is with utmost pride and joy that the Department has unveiled this Portal in an effort to bolster the online presence of all the linked enterprises. This further crystallizes our outlook towards e-commerce and in engendering a business posture that is holistic and not constrained by barriers of distance.
Connectivity is key and in embracing online marketing of the enterprises that we have already constructed websites for, we trust that this Portal shall pave the way in not only granting them online traction and marketing mileage but in enhancing their clientele base and business prospects. Indisputably; social media is the backbone of such as initiative hence all key platforms are being linked in stepping up our interactiveness and immediacy.
The economic empowerment of the individual enterprise beneficiaries is indeed the overarching factor to this Portal.
A wide range of research has proven that smallholder farming is set to catapult itself as the pinnacle of agriculture and food security in particular. Hence we trust that this endeavour shall meet its intended goals and draw much needed rewards.
We are also confident that this Portal shall also be of immeasurable value to retail preferential procurement divisions, export markets that we tend to reach out to through outbound missions, FairTrade orientated stakeholders, commodity groupings and other varied stakeholders.
